I have been teaching the Button Accordion and Piano Accordion for over 30 years.

As soon as I graduated from the Belarusian State Academy of Music in 1987, I began to work as an accordion teacher at the Minsk school #119 in Belarus. I continued to teach the accordion as I moved around the world - first to Israel, and now, for the last 15 years, at my “Musical Expressions” studio in Plano, Texas. I provide high-quality private lessons for all of my students.

My students’ skills range from those who recently picked up an accordion to advanced players. I work individually with each person to create the right method that will help them achieve their goals.

Logan S., beginner on a Roland Button Accordion

Colin M., intermediate level, who has played on his Piano Accordion for only one year

Elijah C., one of my advanced students

The accordion is a unique instrument, and I am passionate about spreading the experience of playing it to others.
Because of this, I offer Skype lessons so those beyond the Dallas area can be enriched with my knowledge of this instrument.

I offer 30-minute, 45-minute and one-hour lessons, depending on what each student needs. The lessons include a great lesson book, a lesson plan, learning the correct placement of your hand, theory, fingering, and bellows technique. I will demonstrate and teach you how to perform many beautiful songs in a fun and unique way!

This year, two of my students placed at the “Big Squeeze” youth accordion competition.

Elijah Clements honorable mention in the Polka category, and Peter Gresser made it to the finals, winning the Grand Champion Polka Category.

I am very proud of their achievements!
